There is no such thing as balance. How do you feel when you hear that statement? For Geomyra Pollard it was very freeing. Instead of feeling like she needed to juggle all of her responsibilities, she was more able to tend to each one as needed each day.

Listen as Geomyra and I talk about creating a life that helps you run a successful business.

Geomyra is a coach for creatives who was once a wedding planner. She was running her wedding planning business, working in her nine to five, and raising two kids while still trying to be an amazing wife and she kept hearing all about this balance stuff.

It just didn’t make sense.

Instead she decided that she needed to be well-rounded. A person who is well-rounded worries less about balancing and everything and more about giving each thing their time and space. For her this meant hiring someone to help with the house so she could take back time for her business.

This also meant saying no to business things that interfered with her family life. As her kids get older, it means handing off household chores and responsibilities so that they too become well-rounded individuals.

After listening, let me know one step you’re going to take to create your own successful business by living a more well-rounded life.
